Though the calendar assures us it is still November, we are confidently moving ahead with the planned course and started preparing for the UTICamp-2021 interpreting track. And we already have the first news for you!
Next year, the cross-cutting theme of the conference will be "Transformation and Change".
This topic will be covered in the following aspects:
- interpreter training (foreign conference interpretation schools and CPD courses);
- sign language interpreting and its vital place in our profession to support human rights and inclusion;
- national and international interpretation standards;
- interpreting specializations (medicine, law, business, niche topics);
- Introduction to AIIC: what it is, why join and how to do it.
We are delighted to report that AIIC now boasts its first member from Ukraine: Andrei Besedin. So we decided to introduce Ukrainian interpreters to this association more closely.
